My quest for healing has eluded me, however, my quest to be alive, has and, is always a miracle when it occurs. Having always been weak and tired due to cardiac related issues, the frequency and intensity of such issues is a tragedy. Nevertheless, trough it all, I try to be optimistic. Faith cometh by hearing and by hearing the word of God. However faith leaveth by hearing some of the opinions of people. Monologue is safer than dialogue for me.

My comment to the post I wrote is another subject. I started reading the movie script for Carman's novel titled, "Undefeated in Love and War." Just 10% into the script I can say in two words, "action packed." I promise to post my review of the movie script shortly. If I am not mistaken he is doing the movie sometime in the near future. Go for it Carman!
I found out for a fact that Carman got married on January 8, 2004. As a partner with his ministry I am a bit miffed that he told us nothing. However, I would not say he sinned. Maybe God told him to do it.
God told Hosea the prophet to marry a prostitute named, Gomer. I am not going to judge Carman. I have always had a good opinion of him. He needs friends and prayer now more than ever.
If God did not tell him to marry her then he was just plain stupid. Stupidity is not a sin dah.
Carman's album House of Praise is awesome. He seems to have no concerts booked for July. Wonder what he will be doing hahaha. There is some talk about him doing a movie and a TV series sometime soon. Pray for him to be kept from deception and also for he and his possessions to be sealed in the blood of Jesus. Pray for God to give him wisdom for every decision he has to make both now and in the future. Remember that something good is going to happen to you today. Expect a miracle!

Girard, I am speaking from my frame of reference. I am just a partner in Carman's ministry and also his friend. The spelling of his name is a typo. I will leave judgment of Carman to God. Actually Carman's side kick's name is "Vada." If you are speaking the truth I have been enlightened. I choose to pray for Carman because of what happened. He needs prayer.
In April of 1990 I took my brother's teenage daughters and his stepson to a Carman concert at Nassau Colosieum in Long Island, NY. My stepnephew named, Ian, said to me, "Auntie Andrea I had fun. It is the first time I have had fun in church." I never forgot his statement. He was about 15 or 16 years old at the time.
Ian's statement in 1990 caused me to continue to support Carman's ministry. However, The chat room and Vada has insulted me so much since 2003 that it is hard for me to send money at this time. I am waiting for damage control to be done by the ministry.
Nevertheless, the importance of such a ministry is not diminished in my eyes. I pray for them still.
My conscience is clear and there are other ministries for me to support. I am not and never was a groupie. I am too old for that. I am just an old fashioned christian woman who was never accepted by the chatters nor Vada.
If you have never been hurt by them don't be turned off by what I said. It is between them, me and God. Sort of personal. My heart is big enough to continue loving them. WWJD?

I just have to say that Carman has a myspace account and he has naked girls on his myspace and not only that but he's had folks come on his myspace with satanic pictures on it and plus he can't sing and if you notice him hosting on TBN he always complains about anounited prophets and comes against them and everytime he sings some of his songs he lost his anouniting if you read what happened to Damson and Deliah when she cut off his hair and Samson lost his anouniting well thats what happened with Carman he lost hsi anouniting and he has been having speaking enagements at churches!!! I'm here because someone asked me to come here with some information about a stalker that has hurt Carman's family...please read below.
Carman's mother was recently hospitalized due to one of Carman's stalkers contacting her relentlessly. She became extremly stressed out to the point she was rushed to the hospital. The name of the stalker is Charlene Newman of CDC ministries or www.cdcministries.org. I'm asking everyone to contact her and ask her to leave Carman's family alone

The Carman I knew personally in the 80s is not the Carman of today. Perhaps he was never the man I believed him to be. The recent facts point to that being true. We were friends in the 80s and he invited me to tour with him as I was in the gospel music thing back then. In front of many, many witnesses at Lakewood Church of Houston in 1985 he said that I would be his wife...he literally pointed at me and said 'my wife'. Needless to say, he became stubborn and wilfull over a trivial matter involving praise dancers that were a part of my ministry. He did not want them on tour. I did not want to just dump them off. This ended our relationship and he would never speak to me again.Funny, today he claims he is the first Christian to use praise dancers...not true! I am not the first nor will I be the last woman to suffer his fickle ways. When I met him he was departing from a relationship with actress Crystal Bernard. In an interview in the early 90s she said a certain man that she loved deeply turned out to be selfish, stubborn, and did not love her. They broke up and he broke her heart. I can relate, and who knows how many other women who came into his path. he appears very sweet at first but if he does not get his way or he feels you have crossed him, he will dump you without explanation. I went on with my life, very hurt. Now I see that the Lord spared me from being this man's 'wife' in spite of Carman's own words that this would be so.Last year he happened to be in Phoenix so I thought I'd check it out. His voice is shot. He begs for money after ten minutes of weak and nonsensical 'preaching'. He said things from the pulpit that were shockingly inappropriate. The man actually held up his own wallet from the pulpit and asked for money, as God is my witness. He did not even begin to fill the room to capacity, and I saw five speaking/singing engagements over the course of the week he was in Phoenix. I did not see any of the so-called legions of gorgeous women who follow him at these churches. Most of the people seemed mildly bored. I gave him a letter, asking for closure. To date, he has ignored me. TBN is the worst career move he could have chosen. The blogs I have read, and there are so many of them, don't really surprise me. After over twenty years of no contact, here's this weird unknown man and all of these blogs. I can only conclude that the truth finally came out circa 2004 but this is who he was much, much earlier on, when his first fans thought he was a real minister. Lord help him to find the way.
There will be folks who read my comments and will disbelieve that their Carman could be such a lout. If this offends anyone, so be it. I have published what is true. It took over twenty years to get closure about this man, albeit not from him. After seeing him in Phoenix in November 2008, I began to research and found all of the blogs, the marriage, the allegations, etc. So the Lord finally answered me in a roundabout way as to what/why/how this could have happened to me with Carman. I am just one of who knows how many. Sad, because he actually had talent at one time but now is a door to door beggar.
Just today was reading a blog about Carman. There are so many negative observations that it's disheartening and I cannot seem to get over what has become of this person since I knew him in the 80s. One blogger wisely observed that Carman displaced (set aside, turned from) the true wife the Lord sent to him years ago. I could not help but wonder, since Carman and I were such a match in every way. Now both of us are unmarried, unfulfilled in any relationship of true Christian merit with a beloved marriage partner. My own life mirrors Carman's in that I have had a series of really bad encounters and disappointments. I did not walk away from him when he was 29...he displaced me. A gift from God can be turned down. The consequences have left us both....alone. He has his aged mother and some die-hard groupies. I have disappointment with God and a big ?????? about how this could have happened. Isn't God Omnipotent? There has never been a real match for me since the 80s, just a lot of men I waded through who were not fit Christians or even right for me. I suffer and no one knows who I am or cares. Carman did not even have the grace to call me and apologize after over 20 years. I know that after he read the letter I put in his hand last November, and listening to the CD of my music (which he well knew) that he would have to remember me. I am blond now and older but still look the same, very athletic and trim. So I would have to say as one who knows firsthand that he is one hardhearted blue meanie. I hope he reads this. I emailed him at his ministry and he has roundly ignored me. I have no fanasies of a reconciliation; an 'I am sorry this happened, forgive me' would do just fine. I have to conclude, unhappily, that the bash blogs contain a 95% element of truth about this man.

Look Dougie baby, you are all wet, especially using WTF on a Christian blog. Would not surprise me if you are associated with Carman's lame 'ministry'. I am not some middle-aged granny fantasizing and posting lies. I knew Carman and had personal interaction with him during the 1980s. What I have posted is totally factual. He said what I said he said, in front of many witnesses. He keeps himself in hot water with women by being a jerk.
I posted my experience with the man hoping the disenchanted women who think he's a hero would read a post from someone who actually knew the guy and got messed over by his fickle, mean ways. I recently just met a national sign language interpreter at my bible study. She was asked to sign for one of his concerts (for no pay of course) in the 90s but declined because of the rude handling she received by his manager(s). She is not infatuated with Carman, never was, was just trying to do a job. So her testimony is also that there is something amiss with the man's ministry, although she never met him. He was around Houston alot in the 80s and 90s but really no one wants him around here anymore. So Dougie, are you Carmie? Now all you can get is Beaumont and Baytown gigs at little dinky fellowships that you talked your way into. Don't think I'll be coming to see you this time. November in Phoenix was enough. Your new scam to get into churches is really bottom of the barrel. You're over.Face it.
P.S. Dougie....If I were Charlene Newman, who you allege stalked Carman's mother to madness, I would SUE you for defamation of character for posting what you posted. All of you out there saying that Carman is married, I don't know where you get your information from, but it is WRONG! I know Carman personally and he is not married and never has been. He didn't say anything because it NEVER HAPPENED! If you want to say that he's married, tell the truth! That's he's married to doing what God has called him to do! You might want to confess your sin to God about gossiping!
Doug, you are definitely associated with Carmanin some capacity, or just a minor troll. Number one: no one is gossiping or obsessed. Carman has long been discredited and now has to use MySpace and Facebook because he no longer has a real base of believers who find him credible or edifying. His MySpace page is a real joke; he tries to look hip and hop and twenty but the photoshopping is so obvious and he comes off as worldly and ridiculous at age 54. Also, his MySpace 'friends' area, once you get past the initial first page, is a porn shop. His latest ploy, this alleged illness, is to make money and get attention. He asks everyone in his pathetically transparent message to email a woman named Elaine and gives her yahoo address. Reason for this is that they are both involved in Visalus, a multi-level marketing scheme. They hope to garner many people 'under' them, ergo, they will make a ton of up front money from the gullible, and the gullible will make nothing. It is all a money making scam on the part of Carman. I for one have a problem believing that no doctor can diagnose his alleged illnesses. He has everyone praying for him, LOL!!! He needs to repent, pure and simple.
I also can see that his pages and pages of photos and comments from 'fans' on Facebook and MySpace are mainly bogus posts put up by.....himself. He has no credibility with genuine born again believers, his record sales are in the toilet. But he is, so he believes, very clever, and is preying on nominal 'Christians' to buy into his stale baloney. He is sick alright.....in the noggin. Believers have a RIGHT TO EXPOSE PHONIES.
P.S. It is ironic that this blogspot falls directly under his pitiful illness story links. Many will see the comments on this blogspot and hopefully think twice. Karen, there is enough evidence pointing to a January 2004 marriage and annulment that you must also be one if the blind and the lame!

Karen, Carman canceled concert tours last month to get engaged to a woman and she placed on her facebook a picture of the 7 carrot dimond ring he gave to her..... and he told all his fans it was because he was sick he canceled. Her name is Keli Miller. Go look into that she owns a tanning salon in SC called Solar Tan, a bunch of so called stalker women, aka women Carman has dated and Carman is now calling stalkers, have gotten in touch with this woman and she still believes every word he says about all these other women being stalkers. They aren't stalkers they are women that know about everything going on that he is pulling and they have spoken up about it. He is even still on facebook and myspace trying to "hook up" with any "cute" woman he can and he is engaged.
Go ask him about that.
I also know what his illness is,Carman had a back injury in 2000. He has had a bulging disk in his back since that time. He refuses to have back surgery to correct it insisting on taking large amounts of Hydro-codone. He is taking, 500 milligrams 4 to 5 times daily.The side effects, are everything that was described in his urgent prayer request on FB. He is killing himself. He is addicted to perscription pain medication and he refuses to go into a rehab and come off of them, he also, refuses to have the back surgery to fix that problem. If an intervention is not done and done soon he will die like Micheal Jackson.

So let's get this straight Mr. Licciardello...YOU pretended to be very ill, cancelled your concerts and brought in tons of sympathy for yourself while the entire time your butt was in SC chasing after your latest conquest and getting yourself engaged? I'm sorry, but when are all of you people going to WAKE UP and see this human being for the liar and user he truly is? He uses God to make $ to live on..chases every female he can in chat rooms, keeps his personal behaviors under lock and key while he preaches the Gospel for gain. Ladies...get over the fantasy and get a clue. Ask him to open up his mouth and you'll see his forked tounge. Carrie Vandy-Miller This breaks my heart only for the thousands of people who have no clue, pour money into his ministry and happily go about their days thinking he's this virginal, man of God when so many know he is not. Theyre all afraid to speak out because they are threatened and harassed by his cohorts. Listen..Oksana is real, all the other women are real. He has multiple MySpace, FB and Twitter accounts to privatly go about his backyard business. And NO, I have never had contact with him, other than to follow up on info provided by many of his confidants and close friends who are ashamed of his behaviors and yet are aware they can be in a tough place for telling the truth. This Ministry may be filled with precious, loving, honest partners but they have not clue one what their SHEPARD is up to. More crap....I have been posting like mad of Facebook's For Real for Now Carman forum, under my name, Genevieve. On this blog you're reading I am Gwyneth and Priscilla. Oh well, I like pseuodyms, they're fun. If you scroll up on this page, you will see someone named Charlean asking for me to contact her. She uses my Gwen instead of Gwyneth. Long story short, she then saw the For Real for Now posts and message me on Facebook , sent me her phone number. I spent an hour on the phone with her and realized she was not well mentally. Long story short, she is posting here as 'Deanna'. I know because she repeated the same stuff on the phone about the back injury, Oksana, etc. So Doug, whoever you are, I now believe her to be capable of stalking Nancy Licciardello. My apologies. I thought her to be a victim but she is worse than can be imagined in the opposite direction. I chatted nicely with her for an hour and realized that she had me call her to scope me out, and to pour oodles of stories about Carman into my ears. I politely told her a few times that it is apparent that she is vry in love with the man, carrying a terribly sad torch. She admitted that he bars her from his concerts, atc., and has her escorted out. She posts wildly against me...Google 'Weird World of Carman' to see the travesty. She alternately accused me of being Lisa Piatt AND Carman. I assure you my voice is octaves higher than Carman's.
Her rambling and incoherent posts are awful to behold. She posts as a man named 'Steve Barnett' on the For real for Now forum, and vaguely threatens me. I know it's her because of the bizarre spelling and writing style, same as on Weird World of Carman.
On this page, as Deanna and OKs, she seems to have been on her medication and is more coherent.
To say the least, I have taken lots of flak for exposing Carman.
What I can't figure is......how he hasn't been able to remove the posts. Must have been started by someone else on FB who won't take it down.

Carman broke up with Keli and is now dating Jenny Lynn a fitness coach and he is wanting to marry her. He took the ring back from Keli and is giving it to Jenny. Ms Lynn's website is worse than Keli's and she looks like Oksana. Mr. Carman is backslidden and needs our prayers. Jesus can't be happy with that Carman and all the preaching and saying Christian's hurt you that is a crock. Own up to your own mistakes and stop blaming everyone for what you are doing yourself.

And only gullible naive Christians, who don’t know their Bibles would fall for your crafty style of handling the Word of God deceitfully.
You know if I were you, I’d take a real good look at my life and all of the harmful damage that you’ve sent out to others and all of the tragic mistakes that you have made and I would seriously have a come to Jesus experience and Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
And lastly, I would ask you, do you like Prophecy yet? Because it sure has come to pass in your life, hasn’t it?
I am so amazed and dismayed at all these derogatory comments about Carman. My fellow friends..... quoting from the bible, Jesus exorts us to "Judge not, that ye be not judged." We all have sinned and made mistakes in life.... even after we became Christians. We are not infallible, and God knows this. When we sin we know we can repent and turn to God forgiveness. (Which I am sure Carman has did if he felt he sinned against God).
Let us not be like the Pharisee in Luke 18:11....quote..“The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12 ‘I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.
For all we know, Carman humbled himself before God....in the quietness of his closet and prayed like the tax collector... quote verse 13 “But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’
Please note what the scripture says....quote verse 14 “I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
My dear brethren, be careful that you are not so judgemental like this Pharisee. Have forgiving hearts, pray for Carman. He is after all.... God's chosen instrument.

I viewed the link that you published re: Changing Hands. Though the scenes and language are horrific.... maybe by involving himself in this film, Carman wants to portray the reality of gang and gun violence.
I bet towards the end of the film... there will be a gospel message and a call to repentance and salvation.....

When are these Women going to wake up to the fact of who this person is, and what he's all about! He's a deceiver, a messenger of Satan, whose end is playing out according to his works! But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

So sad you feel this way. I can't understand the anger you feel against Carman. Remember.... the bible says, 'Judge not, lest ye be judged' and for us to 'Love one another'. Let God Himself be the judge of what Carman does.
With me....if I find anything offensive and not to my liking, I simply leave it and move on....
maybe focus on another Ministry perhaps. I am sure Carman values all his friends and supporters..... but we have to be careful that we examine our hearts and motives so that we ourselves are not the instruments of Satan, who uses man to slander his fellow men. Remember....... Satan is the accuser of the bretheren, whilst God is all merciful and loves us and forgives.

We as Christians should stand together and pray for each other. We all have our faults. Does it not concern you that you and others are hurting his feelings by slandering him like this. Hey, I'm not the one who is laying on a bed having my picture made to present this to the world, and I don't know of any other Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that do anything of this nature!
In one of the photos, the phone in the background is off the hook.
He's even seen in pictures by a bathtub, where is the logic in all of this?
And I don't know of any other Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that play in movies with such foul language.
So since I have only pointed out what I have seen, then you probably need to ask Carman Why is he posing for pictures in a bed? Why is the phone off of the hook in one of the pictures? And Why is he playing parts in such filthy movies?

Satan is working to do all he can to bring this man to the ground and if any of you are Christian's with a heart, you will lift him up in your prayers and fight battle for him. Satan is mad because of how many souls he has won for Jesus throughout his life. Yes, he has fallen and yes he needs the body of Christ to help him to fight, not condemn him to hell. One thing I'd like to make straight. W/out having to go into too much detail, Charlene is NOT a stalker. I got involved in this and did a bit of investigation and she knows alot about Carmanito the Duplicitous and his bogus ministry. So she gets attacked and blamed regularly by a Carmanite cult of brain addled chicks who come out like bugs from the woodwork and blame everything on her. It happened to my gal pal also when she wrote about the guy, and she wrote from recent direct experience and past direct experience. So now you know. If he has no conscience when he sees this stuff it means he's like way far gone. Satan ain't attacking him ladies, he's employing him LOL. End times deception talked about in the Book. Michelle and a couple others are making a good deal of sense here.
Also I don't agree about any great awakeing like some big revival. The Book says the opposite like a great falling away. Really check that doctrine out because false doctrines are a big part of the end times scene. Anyways I have nada to say good about this man because I am directly involved w/someone who was directly involved w/him and she is no liar. Yeah that movie is pretty bad and the chick who posted that there would be a salvation gospel message at the end and that's why he's in it is off her rocker. Sorry everyone I am gonna retract my former comments about Charlene not being a stalker. Priscilla was right. Just over the past couple days we put 2 and 2 togther from tons of blogs on Weird World of Carman. She made friends with Priscilla my girlfriend(not her real name but she's already admitted to the three names she blogged with) And then after a month of this buddy buddy phone chat stuff w/Priscilla, and the junk on the blogs we realized Charlene slipped up and showed herself to be blogging under almost every name on that blog. She alternately rags on herself under one name then defends herself under another name and does the same to Carman. But this is all supposedly 'Lisa Piatt' doing this and not her. Well we saw some discrepancies in the blogs plus she blabbed alotta junk to Priscilla. So when we put our heads together we realized she is playing a big game, probably on this blog too. Blogging under different names to create a climate of confusion. I'm sure there are legitimate people on here but how many are her? She loves this game! Carman no doubt is a skunk so there's no excuses for him because factnet forum starting way back in 2004 has like 1,500 at least comments from credible believers. They found out he lied about his marriage and has continued to lead a double life and has fallen by the wayside. So the dirt on him and his women etc., is real plus he dropped his salvation page from his website. But beware of the bloggers on WWOC and on here too. Could be MIss Charlene from CDC ministry doing her Carman obsession game. That's about it, I'm outta here. Too freaky because no real man of the faith would have these kinda women who rip and tear everyone who exposes him. He's the only one in CCM who has this crazy stuff buzzing over his life. So I am convinced from evidence of credible people that he is like WAY OUT THERE LOL

Carman, you see how Obama is going around and apologizing to everyone for America's behaviour, however in this case, this is perceived as a sign of weakness.
Though, if you were to go around and apologize to everyone that you've hurt and repent openly and publicly, or say something like... when you're on t.v. Say, "You know if my ministry has ever hurt anyone in the Body of Christ, I would just like to ask your forgiveness!" That's all, simple as that, it's called fruit and works meet with repentance, if you would do this, your ministry might have a chance???

Let's clear things up a bit.
First, Lorey McConnell, you were told by an eye witness about Carman's outrageous antics onstage in a church in 2008. This person called you at your home. You professed to believe her. Then you got on Facebook and helped bash her when she openly confronted Carman, using her real photo and hiding nothing. Now you bash Carman?
"Gayle' is not delusional re: Facebook and other so-called social networks being used as fronts for government surveillance of the population.Do the research if you dare.
'Gayle' was also quite responsible for the churches no longer inviting Carman. This was not done out of spite for the shabby way he treated her years ago, but because she genuinely felt he was a very bad influence for the youth in these churches.
The pastors she contacted in these churches were asked to do only one thing and then make up their own minds: Look at Carman's (now defunct) MySpace page and his 'friends' section. That was enough for the chain of calls and cancellations to begin.
The churches are already severely compromised and very few preach the real Gospel that I see in my 1611 King James Bible. Sad, in the beginning he was credible and very convincing.
'Gayle' got a bird's eye view in 2008 of what Carman was all about, and felt the Holy Spirit employed her to stop at least this part of the sham of Carman and his 'ministry'.
He would like to tell all of you that she is mad because he jilted her (he alternately claims not to remember her, then claims he dumped her). There is a lady in Alabama who saw email communications between Carman and "Gayle' in 2009 and knows 'Gayle' is not lying.
When 'Gayle' knew him years ago, her discernment level was not good and she fell for his 'schtick', as did so many others.
Laughable: Carman has the cops on her? Funny, she has recently passed an Interpol check to work in a foreign country. The cops are not interested in this type of case anyway. She is not now, nor has she ever been, a stalker. She confronted Carman fair and square on Facebook. She had not seen him for 25 years when she saw him in 2008.
Not once in those 25 years did she look for him, attend a concert, or attempt to contact him in any way. Actually, she put him out of her mind and moved on, never even purchasing a CD or looking him up on the internet....until after seeing him live in 2008.
The 'by chance' situation of seeing him in 2008 was completely unplanned in that she found out via a coincidence that he'd be in her town... and decided to go see. She was expecting a man of God as she once remembered him. She had no idea of his ill-fated marriage, the rumors, or the notoriety he had gained on the internet in the passing of these years.
To the blogger who is 'appalled'...good. Maybe you need an eye opener that everything is not as it seems. Evil triumphs when we do nothing.
As for TBN getting rid of Carman if they found out he's a fraud via angry mail, I highly doubt it. They regularly host frauds.
More likely, Carman does not announce his appearances on TBN out of fear of who might show up and point the prophet's finger of doom at him....or boycott the studio, or something like that.
Hope this clears up the situation somewhat.

The bible says a man believes his own ways are right in his eyes but they are far from it. Love covers a multitude of sins. The bible says that a man of God will not share a fault but cover it with love. If you are a child of the most high God your mission is to walk in his ways. One of the most important things the Lord has commanded us to do is to have charity-LOVE. IT is above all things. When you walk in Love you have perfected a thing.
Where is your love for God? It is he who you serve and his will. This page is self satisfying and does not edify the body of christ but creates division amongst the people. Vengence is mine saith the Lord I will repay!

When you folks speak against Carman, you are drinking the poison that you have poured for him to drink. Nobody has the right to speak against someone. If you feel that Carman has offended you in some way, give it to God and let Him deal with it. "Vengeance is mine. I will repay.", says the Lord. All the criticism on this blog must be grieving the Lord. We are ALL called to go out and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. None of us are perfect. God knows that, but He still wants to use us for His good purposes. God was able to use Moses, a murderer and angry man, to lead His people out of Egypt. The Apostle Peter denied Jesus 3 times, but you don't hear people harping on him about that now. Saul, who became the Apostle Paul, was murdering the Christians until Jesus got a hold of him. Now he's considered one of the great leaders of the church who wrote most of the New Testament. Whether you want to believe it or not, Carman IS being used by God. I recently saw him live after nearly 20 years. My friends and I agree that God is using Carman in mighty ways. If there is anything he is doing that is not of God, that's not for you to judge. It's between him and God. It's not up for discussion by anyone else. If you want to discuss it, feel free to take it up with God yourself. He already knows your thoughts. Christians are suppose to encourage one another and gently restore someone who has fallen. We are to bless one another, including our enemies. A number of us are praying for Carman. No weapon formed against him will prosper. God will protect him from the hands of his enemies and God will discipline him as He deems necessary, as He will for all of His children. Please, I urge you all to give all of your grievances to God. I pray that you will forgive Carman for anything he may have done to somehow offend you. If you do not forgive him, then God will not forgive you for all of your offenses. Then ask Carman to forgive you, too, for the accusations that you've made against him. Finally, please pray for Carman. A man of God will have to endure many attacks from his enemies. Carman needs your prayers and support, not your criticism. Jesus is coming back for His people very soon. There are many people who need to be reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ before it's too late. I hope and pray that your mission will be about spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ to a dying world, and not knocking fellow Christians like Carman.
Been there done that, worked for him and his cult leaders. They are just as much of the problem as Carman himself. Manipulative and deceiving behind the face of supposed trusted sweet innocence, fake personalities lie in wait. If you question their authority they will curse you and defame your character and spread lies. All for the reason of a member of the so - called "ministry" questioning if they are reaching the lost to Jesus or if the call has been lost. The Bible tells us that we are to keep each other in check and question leadership if they have become more about themselves and their love of power or self gratification rather than saving souls for Christ. God will ultimately judge each person's life decisions but we are indeed supposed to make sure that a ministry has not become based in earthly desires rather than the desires of the heavenlies and being like Jesus. We should all strive for that.
Ministries are open and keep each other accountable for one another in a humble and open way. My experience was of a cult of secrets and rules and isolation run by a dictatorship of management of one person and a second in command as a spy. It is that simple. There are ten "rules" their own ten commandments if you will not to mention the unwritten rules they make up as they go along if they decide your not good enough to work for them. And remember, these are all volunteers noone gets paid. Carman has his staff for free and they are still persecuted for giving of their time.
My suggestion is for you all to make your own conclusions about this man and his real intentions. There is a book called "Toxic Faith" I recommend that you read it. If the questions in this book come back with a "yes" answer regarding Carman's ministry then you will probably reach the conclusion that most have. He has lost his way and put his image above God and fits in almost every way the category of being a cult. God has removed his gift of his voice. The bible states that if you do not use or if you abuse the gift He has given you He will remove it. The choice must come from your own heart about how your interpret the motives os this man.
Patience, if what you have said is correct, then the body of Christ really needs to fervently pray for Carman and his ministry. If we don't, who else will? Jesus commanded us to love one another as He has loved us. This includes loving our enemies. How can we not be good Samaritans? This sounds like major spiritual warfare within Carman's ministry. Yet, the Bible says, "Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world". Jesus has overcome the world. Therefore, those of us who have Christ in us have the power to fight against the devil and his demons, and WIN. I started praying for Carman a couple of months ago, after I read this blog. He truly needs our prayers. Life and death is in the power of the tongue. We all will be judged someday for what we have said in this life here on earth. We need to speak life into Carman and his ministry, that the power of Christ's Resurrection will be evident and shining brightly like a lighthouse beacon. I urge all of you reading this blog to lift up Carman and his ministry in unceasing prayer for deliverance, upright living, and a fresh fire from the Holy Spirit to seek the Almighty Lord God with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strengths.
To: TellingTheTruth - Yes I do pray for them daily. I did when I worked with them and even more fervently now that I have seen the inner workings of the ministry. I don't want to see anyone fall from God's grace and if only the touch of the Lord could truly reach them then they will have peace in their lives and hearts instead of the underlying negative feelings that are in their heart right now. I hope every one will join me in praying that the heavy veil that is over their eyes and heart be lifted so that they can find truth and peace.

Your intense charisma at the start of your 'ministry' should have been a dire warning to people. Too bad so many of us are reaching ega discernment levels late in the game or it would have been game over for you a while ago. As for people saying Carman lost his voice: Egads people, the man never had a good voice. It was passable, now it's shot. Pray for him? No way. Parable of the wheat and the tares tells me he's a tare and no amount of prayer can help such. Pray for more discernment so you;re not fooled again. This may require you leaving your current 'churchianity' building and fellowshipping alone with the Spirit and the Word. But at least you'll be less subject to deception. Dear Misguided Veloci: It appears that you need mega discernment. By the way, I never accused anyone of multiple blogger names. You still sound like a baby Christian to me. A more mature Christian would understand the power of God and His ability to change people through the power of prayer. If you think that God is not powerful enough to change Carman, then you do not know God. Perhaps you need to spend more time in God's Word and fellowship alone with Him so you will be guided by His Holy Spirit instead of the critical one that you have now. I'm sorry if I have offended you, but sometimes the truth hurts.
You should know by now that I am neither Carman, nor what you are calling "one of his culties". I saw Carman for the first time at a Christian music festival many years ago and really enjoyed his concert but did not become a follower of Carman. Last year I saw him host TBN's "Praise The Lord" program and thought he did a great job as host. A friend of mine was trying to locate one of Carman's older albums. As I was helping him with the search, I came across this blog. At first I was shocked, dismayed, and disgusted by the vicious attacks being made against him, but you can't always believe what you read. So, I did some research and it appeared that a number of the comments could very well be true. However, Jesus COMMANDED us to love one another as He has loved us.
Based on my limited knowledge of Carman, I believe that Carman was "Born Again" back in the 80's. He was seriously attacking the devil as a baby Christian and it may be payback time. The devil has had thousands of years of experience in lying in wait for the right moment to attack God's children. He must be very angry with Carman for all the good that has come out of Carman's ministry over the years. Carman still does have a lot of talent and I believe that his popularity early in his ministry could have puffed up his ego. He might be feeling that he's losing some of that talent and popularity as he ages, but he is still very professional on stage. He knows how to engage the audience with his music, and people love that. It feels more like church when people can sing in the audience. And, yes, Carman can still sing. Okay, so he's not a Josh Groban, but he can still sing.
Some people in ministry will do all the right things in ministry, but if they have not completely submitted to God, they are not as effective. Only God knows Carman's heart. It's not for anyone to judge. But God wants us to pray for one another to encourage one another and to lift up those who have fallen or have lost their way. Carman really needs our prayers. God's not finished with him yet or else Carman would have died in that near fatal car accident last year. Angels were definitely watching over him that day. Anyone else would have been killed.
I believe that Carman is under some major spiritual attacks. The devil targets the Christian leaders, thinking that if he can destroy the leader, he can take down the whole ministry and all the followers. That's why we all need to earnestly pray for Carman for divine protection, and to get right with God and completely submit to Him. Please join me in that prayer.
Contrary to to your belief, I am a well seasoned Christian warrior and knew the man personally. Look at it this way: Maybe the Lord Jesus Christ was warning the man with the car crash. Maybe he was saved back then. However, he has refused to repent. Maybe he will now. No man should have 'followers'. That right is Christ's and Christ's alone. That 'follower' thing right there is the problem with Carman, from your own keyboard. Capische? And you sound just like a follower!
How naive to think that the devil doesn't also protect his 'followers' from harm.....for awhile. Sorry, I lied. I must say: I looked up the alleged car crash. It was not reported by one single legitimate news agency, period. It was reported by Carman on Facebook and on two other links that are totally subjective and not news links at all. Hmmmm. This is not the first time he's cried about his health and injuries to garner sympathy and support. Also, I don't believe any Houston churches will host him, but I have no facts on that. Actually, I don't care and will cease and desist from wasting any further time and effort on this ridiculous subject. Toodle-ooo!
To Veloci: No, I am not Carman and no, I don't consider myself to be a follower of him because I don't believe in that either. However, I have been researching this to determine what is fact and what is fiction.
I had considered joining the Mobile Ministry Club since I feel a calling to the music ministry, but haven't decided as of yet because of all the negative comments on this blog. On the other hand, there were some very positive and constructive comments made on Carman's Facebook page recently regarding a daily devotional with a timely message of hope, someone loving the words on his Power of Praise CD and listening to it over and over again, a powerful message he delivered at a concert regarding the difference between innocence and virtue (ref. Proverbs 31), someone who was happy with her product order including an AIDS dilemma booklet, someone saying how a number of them respect Carman for his testimony and courage to say that he will live like the morals scriptures teach you to live, and some other positive comments.
Perhaps God is working on Carman to change. Words are powerful. So, if he is making a statement that he will live uprightly, that's a good thing. I'm sure he's not there yet because none of us are there yet. None of us are perfect and nobody has lived a perfect Christian life except Jesus. Christians need to strive to live uprightly but we can't do it in our own strength. We need God's help.
The reason for the big defense is because it really bothers me when people with their holier than thou attitudes attack people in ministry instead of lifting them up and praying for them. Being a seasoned Christian warrior as you call yourself, you should know that a leader in ministry will have to endure many more attacks from his enemies than the average Christian. If the devil can bring down the leader, he can bring down the ministry. There are so many vicious attacks against Carman on this blog. The evil against him is so apparent.
As far as limited knowledge about Carman, that applies to everyone, including Carman. Only God knows his heart and only God can do a mighty work in Carman to change him into the man that God wants him to be. Jesus died for all, including any false teachers. And yes, Jesus did warn us about the false teachers, but He still loves them and died for them. He wished that none would perish. If Carman has lost his way and has become a false teacher, God can surely restore him. That's why we need to pray for Carman. Jesus said to remove the log in your own eye before pointing out the spec in someone else's eye.

To Veloci: If you cannot see where or how you attacked me the first time you addressed me, then you haven't a clue of how your strong accusing and assuming words affect the people you address. Plus, you are falsely accusing me of being Carman. I'm not him. I've already told you that. If you had a discerning spirit you would have known that by now.

No Christian could be so bold as to make a statement like that. One can only boast in the Lord. You speak like the Pharisee, thanking God that he is not like the sinner. As the Bible says, "You honor me with your lips, but your hearts are far from me". Your very words condemn you. Plus, you say that you follow Jesus, yet you are ignoring the great command Jesus gave us, to love one another as He has loved us. How can you continue to knock Carman, and not forgive him and pray for him? A real Christian, filled with the Holy Spirit, would pray for Carman. Only someone with an evil and critical or prideful spirit could viciously attack him and refuse to pray for him. God is not a respecter of persons. He loves us all. But He is a just God. If you will not forgive people who have hurt or offended you, God will not forgive you. You cannot pick and choose what you want from the Bible and ignore the rest.
I hadn't mentioned the car accident because I didn't have time to further look into it, and frankly, I didn't think it mattered that much. Not all accidents are reported by newspapers. I once witnessed a bad accident outside my workplace on a busy stretch of highway. One vehicle flipped over. An elderly man and his dog were trapped inside. There were emergency vehicles galore on the scene. Traffic was backed up in both directions through rush hour. They were there for hours. Nothing was reported in any of the newspapers. No news stories about the accident were reported on the radio stations either. News reporters are given their assignments. If you're not on their list, no one knows about you.
By the way, when you were on Carman's website, I'm surprised that you didn't add a Facebook post. You certainly have a lot to say on this blog. And, I agree that the Body of Christ has bigger concerns than to bash Carman. We need to lift him up in prayer so he may continue to do the work that God has called him to do. Whether you want to believe it or not, Carman IS doing God's work, no matter what other issues may get in the way. We need to pray that he will always be a good Christian witness and will become the man God wants him to be so many more will be won to Christ. IF you in fact had a relationship with him (which I suspect you didn't) and it was over 20 years ago... It is definitely time to move on. Carman is from NJ. I'm from Long Island, NY. Years back when I was a little girl a friend of my mother's met him at a concert here in NY and began courting him. They were in a relationship for close to a year. (Yes, I met him a couple times during that time.) They ended their relationship because after a lot of prayer they didn't believe they should stay together. She says to this day, she wishes him well. BUT nothing came of it. However, he didn't "break her heart" and was never "fickle."
You saying "I hope he reads this" or "I never got a response, he's a meanie" is just so childish. It was 20 something years ago (IF it ever happened)... It sounds to me like you all ARE indeed obsessed fans that never got the attention you wanted. Maybe he has changed over the years. I don't follow his ministry anymore because my taste changed AND I left the church. However, one thing is certain. You all make me laugh. Just to clarify. They were in a long distance relationship for the most part. But there was a huge effort put in on his part to make the relationship work. I am sorry you feel that way, because personally and not in a mean way, but, I really do not care what you think about me. The bible says,"Do not put you eyes on man, he will fail you every time. Keep you eyes on things above." You are not his Judge, the bible says," Judge not, lest you be Judge." Andrea you need to think about things you say because if you were part of his ministry the understand that there is a thing called "CONFIDENTIALIY" what he does in his life & who he does it with is absolutely "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS" I cannot even believe you called Carman stupid, clearly you are not a believer because you would know what the bible says about judging others & how we are supposed to treat one another & you obviously have no clue what that means. I'm confused about what to think about Carman now!So much gossip and differing comments. I am posting this on 5/31/2013. Carman says he is suffering from incurable cancer and is raising money through 'Kickstarter' for one last tour and a recording of new songs. As of today the amount is over $300,000!His goal was $200.000. As I read, I see that he has said he was sick before and got a lot of $$$. Is he believable?
I'm beginning to wonder if he's on the level? His FB chronicals this, also a trip to the hospital on 5/30for dehydration. HOW can he plan a big tour if he's so ill? According to records, he's worth $20M, why does he need our money? I am having doubts about his story. Will he suddenly be 'healed'as he is asking all to pray for, along with giving him hard earned cash?
I'm truly wondering if he can be trusted. If anyone is still around this blog, what say you?
I surprisingly stumbled on this blog hoping to confirm some questions that I have about his pictures and his "worldly" marketing campaign, a shirt half buttoned and posing like he is doing an ad for a GQ magazine instead of a Christian Ministry. I know Carmen from PFA in Phoenix, and I am sure that everything written here may be considered gossip, but the imagery that is portrayed of Carmen is definitely not leading me to believe its the Holy Spirit. Anyway, the comments for the FB page are not there, and I dont even think the names match, the link is for Keli Miller....so, who knows what is true and what is not. But for my two cents, I just hope he is not lying about his cancer...that would be shameful.

I think that satan is trying to raise his ugly head again. Surely you can not think that Carman would chance the consequences he would have to pay if he was faking. Why would you think that? Why would anybody think that?!!!!! If you are a friend, why aren't you behind him. He is winning souls through the Holy Spirit to heaven! What are you doing??? So please, don't put two cents, put at least $1 to help him! With the Love of God, He is ok, stand behind him.
Carman does not have cancer. It is a hoax. A last ditch effort on his part to assist his failed career. There will be no 60 city tour as he claims there will be.
Do your math. It cost an average of $25,000 per concert and a 60 city tour will cost at least 1,500.000.
He'd have to sell out every show and we know he is not capable of this. He can not even fill a store front church.
He will take the money and run. What happened to the money that was raised during the faith funder campaign? He will do the album and video as planned but there will be no tour.
I'm beginning to have my doubts too. Doesn't anyone think it's suspicious that immediately after announcing his cancer diagnosis, he puts out an e-mail telling people that they can help the ministry by buying t-shirts on his website? While I don't want to deny the man a miracle from the Lord if he truly is sick, there is really no way we'll know the authenticity of his claim due to the medical privacy laws. The whole "merchandising" of his illness just doesn't sit well with me.

I have followed Carman's ministry for years. I don't care about all of this personal stuff. What atters is that Jesus is still Jesus. The Gospel is still the Gospel. There may be many broken hearts because they were the chosen ones. God chooses whom He wants and equipts them to carry the message. Answering the call has nothing to do with the temptations; who likes you or is disappointed or even scorned because of the actions of another. It is God's anointing that breakes yokes. I will repent of searching "Is Carman Married" In my flesh the is no good thing, I have to die daily. Is God in the buisness of munipulating situations, Is that what we want him to do when we pray sometimes. I as a person with free will can change my mind as to who I want to marry, have a friendship. !!STOP!! God is still in control of our destiney. As long as Carman is doing what he believes God has called him to do. It doesn't matter what you think. God will be Carman's judge concering his actions and yours. God is Love and I haven't felt much love in these comments. I don't think I would married most of you women either. Where was God in all of this I believe I was to be Carman's wife. Nothing like a woman scorned. Your feelings and emotions can be so out of sync with the will of God. Lord help Carman. I love him and pray for him. He belongs to God. Forgiveness is a wonderful thing and Thats Gods business. Marry the wrong person and the will of God can become so out of sync with what God wants. As far as the merchandising of his illness as some say. If he is ill he may stand before God before you do. And it seem that many people were more than willing to give. Free concerts for 80,000 people at on sitting means a lot. We give to all sorts of this in many of our churhes that have nothing to do with Jesus and soul winning. Its still the Gospel of Jesus Christ matters. This man has gone into a financial hole many times behind free concerts. Free Stadium concert are not making much money. People who never had to or have to handle the cost of giganic efforts are not the ones to pass judgement. Especially if the have received on sort of spiritual or emotion gain.
